The Government of the Republic of South Sudan (GRSS) has received a Grant from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Strategic Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project (SWSSIP), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this Grant shall be used for payments under the contract for Consultancy services for Feasibility Studies, Detailed Engineering Designs, Preparation of Tender Documents for Improving the Water Supply system and Supervision of Works Contract in Juba City Phase II.

The services under this project include the following: (i) Feasibility Studies; (ii) Water Resources Assessment; (iii) Detailed Engineering Designs, (vi) Preparation of tender Documents and (v) Supervision of Works Contract.

The South Sudan Urban Water Corporation (SSUWC) now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations, dated October 2017, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.

Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below by 3:00 P.M. local time on Tuesday 25th August 2020 in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Consultancy services for
