Job Description
The Retail Department is looking for a Business Analyst to join Card team!
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing a service by extracting, analyzing and reporting on all offerings linked to Card Acceptance by Total
- Extracting ,analyzing and submitting monthly Sales reports for Total Card (Customers and Dealers)
- Gathering information, preparing, analyzing and submitting the monthly Card Division Reports
- Preparing a monthly income and expenditure report for Total Card
- Analysing cost center postings against budgets monthly , correcting anomalies and providing Management with a report
- Preparing and reporting monthly on the Total Card margins based on Price List published by Department Of Energy
- Updating and maintaining the Card profitability model per Customer
- Validating Customer’s Marketing fee claims and preparing for processing, ensuring correctness of Marketing fees in Tomcard
- Assisting with the annual Budgets for the department
- Assisting with the long term plan when required
- Analysing monthly and quarterly EFT transaction statistics provided by 3rd Party suppliers and providing a report on trends, anomalies and gaps identified in supplier’s report
- Preparing & updating work flow processes for the Total Card offering, updating all Card / EFT Procedures and Policies & obtaining signatures
- Providing support with Projects related to all EFT and Card Offerings , developments or enhancements
- Providing Adhoc reporting as and when required by Management
- Assisting with data collation for Tender submissions as and when required

To ensure constant adherence and compliance to company HSEQ and security standards, local by-laws, standards and legislation
Context and environment
Card offering operates in a complex system driven environment where reliance is placed on external and internal service providers with a direct impact on our customers and dealers. The analysis of our Card offering is therefore a critical element which enables us view our position in relation to budgets (AAA), trends in the market, income and expenditure.
Candidate profile
You will possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Degree in Finance
- 4 – 5 years related experience in oil industry
- Strong business ,statistical and analytical skills
- Strong Practical Accounting skills
- Good knowledge of systems (SAP /Ms Office Packages / Web Based Systems)
- Good knowledge and understanding of Project management
- Good communication skills ( both verbal and written)
