Job Description

Supporting the Senior Talent Developer & Head of Training, the HR Partner shall be involved in the full spectrum of HR  processes as follows:

  • HR Policy: Provides employment law advice and support to management on employee relations in general; policies, employee relations issues including individual negotiations where applicable, ensure business focused solutions are consistent with the practices of Total, Singapore employment law and best practices.  
  • HR Support: Supports part of the employee’s lifecycle (on-boarding to exit interviews).
  • Recruitment Ensures the delivery of the recruitment plan from identification of recruitment needs through to Total job posting (for internal recruitment) or external platforms/providers (for external recruitment), CV screening, coordination of interviews, employment contracts and on-boarding.
  • Talent Management/Training: Supports the Senior Talent Developer & Head of Training in relation to career reviews, training, management and update of HR4U (HRIS), job posting and all required reporting.
  • Assists in the analysis of the employees’ Annual Performance Reviews (APR), extracts their training needs and recommends the appropriate training actions.
  • Supports the implementation and delivery of training programs to the employees either internally, in coordination with Total Learning Solutions or with the assistance of external training providers.
  • Familiarizes employees with the Group learning management system plus existing tools and applications for training.
  • Monitors completion of training and provides adequate reporting.
  • HR Shared Service: Works closely with the HR Shared Services team to ensure smooth execution and delivery of services- e.g. job advertisements, delivery of Group training, etc.
  • HR Campaigns & Projects: Supports the execution and delivery of Human Resource projects and campaigns – diversity campaigns, employee engagement survey, employment studies, annual performance reviews, reporting, headcount planning, joint ventures or mergers and acquisitions HR matters. Collaborates with the various branch HR teams in Singapore or TTA/TGPA HR teams in Paris or Geneva.
  • Change Management: Supports management in the delivery of business change and growth.
  • Effective internal communications: Develops communication materials and templates to ensure the communication and delivery of key HR campaigns  using a wide variety or internal communication tools; proposes and implements process improvements to support  internal communication

Candidate profile

Bachelors degree in HR Management, Behavioural Psychology or other disciplines. 5 to 8 years’ experience in HR advisory. Knowledge of employment legislation and global trends in learning & development. Meticulous, pro-active and can operate with minimal direction. Client focused and strong relationship builder. Analytical, strong ability to innovate and solve problems. With commercial awareness, business focus, ability to transcend cultural barriers. Works effectively under pressure and tight deadlines. Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
