As part of your missions, you are in charge of :
- Identification of Commercial & Industrial prospects likely to enter in a solar PPA or equivalent
- Realization of commercial proposals (non-binding and binding offers) destined to create value for our clients
- Responsible for building and maintaining tools to industrialize our offer & process
- Following up and coordinating the project development with our partners
- Relationship management from first contact to PPA signature or equivalent
- Responsible for contractual negotiation also assisted by the management
- Follow-up and monitoring of all business evolutions potentially impacting the development of generating and selling PPA or equivalent in the perimeter
- Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business opportunities
- Responsible for the development and achievement of sales through the direct & indirect sales channel
- Expanding the relationships with new and existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
- Managing key accounts
- Traveling is required when needed for client presentation and commercial prospection
Contexte et Environnement
Reporting to the Spanish Managing Director, the Business Developer will be responsible for aggressively growing Total Solar’s leadership in the I&C / B2B solar sector in the peninsula by leading all phases of project development, coordinating stakeholders, closing exclusivity deals with co-development partners, building long-term relationships and supporting the closing of transactions with strategic and large companies.
Profil recherché
While it would be helpful for a candidate to have experience in Solar, we recognize that the solar B2B market is nascent and therefore we are considering candidates with experience in adjacent sectors.
- Master’s degree in engineering, sciences or business
- 5 years of sales experience positioning sophisticated solutions and cost-benefit analyses
- Ability to prove B2B track record
- Proven experience in the B2B industry (C&I)
- Be flexible and proactive to deal with complex situations and achieve sales targets
- Experience in modeling offers & PPA negotiation
- Excellent communication skills and good technical knowledge coupled with a dynamic approach to sales. Success-oriented.
- Strong office skills specially in excel modeling
- Spanish working language; English advanced knowledge is required. French and Portuguese are appreciated
