Job Description
- Ensure Group internal control policies and procedures are applied by TOAP.
- Promote sound internal control practices within TOAP departments in HQ and plant.
- Suggest a yearly internal audit plan and subsequently perform internal control reviews to assess level of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement and better compliance.
- Provide support to management in areas of internal control and general organization.
- Promote the Group Anti-Corruption Compliance program within TOAP and assist the Compliance Officer in the compliance implementation and follow-up (e.g. follow-up of the due diligence process, trainings etc.).
- Regularly review and ensure communication of a procedural framework for TOAP.
- Participates in various ad-hoc projects and missions including transversal topics within the APMO zone.
Context and environment
- Various areas of operations within HQ (local, regional and central departments) and the SG lubricant plant.
- Working with colleagues in an affiliate where business cultures and working styles are highly diverse, and involving an significant number of senior managers.
- Diverse activities include Lubricants (industrial and automotive) and Special Fluids, as well as regional support of other activities (e.g. retail/network).
- Need to establish/update local guidelines and policies, in line with both the Total Group rules and local regulations.
Candidate profile
- Strong understanding of risk management, internal control frameworks and corporate governance and international
compliance practices. - Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with people at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English).
- Strong data analytics skills.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Business or related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years’ experience performing financial, operational and compliance audits in public accounting firm or asan internal auditor in a multinational corporation.
- Fair understanding of MS activities (notably Lubricants and Special Fluids).
