PROJECT/ Lot 2: ADDITIONAL WORKS UNDER RUSUMO-KAYONZA ROAD (92 KM) IMPROVEMENT PROJECT.
- The Government of Rwanda (hereinafter referred to as GoR) through the Rwanda Transport Development Agency (hereinafter referred to as RTDA) under the Ministry of Infrastructure received funds from JICA loan No. RW-P3 under the MULTINATIONAL UGANDA/RWANDA: BUSEGA-MPIGI AND KAGITUMBA-KAYONZA-RUSUMO ROADS PROJECT and intends to apply part of the agreed amount to payments under Lot 2: Additional Works under Rusumo-Kayonza Road (92 km) Improvement Project. The Works subject of this tender are : Sub-Lot 1: Rehabilitation and widening works for Ngoma Junction to Kibungo Hospital Road (4.1 km) ; Sub-Lot 2: Upgrading Works under Double Bituminous Surface Treatment (DBST)-Chip seal technology for Kayonza Urban Roads (4.5 km), Sub-Lot 3: Upgrading Works under Double Bituminous Surface Treatment (DBST)-Chip seal technology for Ngoma Urban Roads (4.5 km), Sub-Lot 4: Upgrading Works under Double Bituminous Surface Treatment (DBST)-Chip seal technology for Kirehe www.rtda.gov.rw ;
- Urban Roads (4.5 km), Sub-Lot 5: Upgrading Works for Kabarondo Town Bypass Road (3.0 km) and Sub-Lot 6: Road lighting along the Rusumo-Kayonza road (92 km), Ngoma Junction to Kibungo Hospital road (4.1 km), Kayonza Urban Roads (4.5 km), Ngoma Urban Roads (4.5 km), Kirehe Urban Roads (4.5 km) and Kabarondo Town Bypass Road (3.0 km). International Competitive Bidding (ICB) method with “Single Stage” Bidding Procedures will be followed in accordance with the African Development Bank’s Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Works ;
- The ‘’Rwanda Transport Development Agency (RTDA) / Ministry of Infrastructure (MININFRA)’’ now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of above Additional works, following International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procurement method. The execution period of works is 12 calendar months ;
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at RWANDA TRANSPORT DEVELOPMENT AGENCY,O Box 6674, KG 563 St., Queen’s Land House, 1st Floor, Email : [email protected], website: www.rtda.go.rw , Kigali-Rwanda ;
- A complete set of Bidding Documents may be obtained by interested bidders from Rwanda Transport Development Agency Office from 01/05/2020 during working days/hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Rwandan Francs only (50,000 FRW) or in a convertible currency deposited at any account of Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) opened at any commercial Bank in Rwanda ;
- The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement for Works September 2010 as revised in February 2018 ;
- Bids properly bound must be delivered to the above mentioned office not later than 23/06/2020 at 10:00 a.m local time (GMT+2) and must be accompanied by a Bid Security, in a form of a reputable Bank Guarantee only of an amount equivalent to Three Hundred and Fifty thousand United States Dollars (350,000 USD) or its equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency ;
- Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, on the same day (23/06/2020) at 10:30 a.m local time (GMT+2) at RTDA premise, 2nd floor, conference room ;
- The bids will remain valid for a period of One Hundred and Twenty (120) days from the date of bids submission. Sincerely,
