REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
PRODUCTION OF THE INFRASTRUCTURE FINANCING TRENDS IN AFRICA – 2019 REPORT
The Secretariat of the Infrastructure Consortium for Africa (ICA), hosted by the African Development Bank at the Infrastructure and Partnership Division, will require the services of a suitably qualified consulting firm to provide consultancy services for the ‘PRODUCTION OF THE INFRASTRUCTURE FINANCING TRENDS IN AFRICA – 2019 REPORT’.
The main objective of the assignment would be to produce (Research & Write) the report in collaboration with the ICA Secretariat. The report, which is produced annually by the ICA, is a key publication of strategic importance to the objectives of the ICA. The report provides information on annual financial commitments/investments and disbursements towards infrastructure development in Africa. The ICA now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services indicated above. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).
The Consulting Firm shall have been in existence for at least five years as a firm with considerable experience in management consulting covering, development research/consulting, programme planning, monitoring & evaluation and analytical work. African Regional experience and an understanding of the Infrastructure sector in Africa, as well as previous experience in producing similar reports within the international development finance landscape are essential.
The eligibility criteria for the establishment of a short list and the selection procedure shall be in conformity with the Bank’s Rules and Procedures for the Use of Consultants. Please, note that interest expressed by a Consulting Firm does not imply any obligation on the part of the Bank to include it in the shortlist.
The estimated duration of services is 6 (six) months and the estimated starting date is May 2020.
