The opportunity
We are looking for a qualified solicitor or barrister with demonstrable post-qualification experience obtained in a credible commercial firm or chambers or tier one commercial organisation to join the in-house legal team of a leading technology services company. Ideally, your experience will be primarily in the technology sector and have included drafting, negotiating and advising on contentious and non-contentious issues related to outsourcing, consulting, licensing, hosting, software development and other third-party engagements.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- The review, drafting, and negotiation of a wide variety of commercial contracts working closely with Atos commercial and sales leads ;
- Advising the business on tender processes and participating in contractual negotiations with a range of customers, suppliers, and partners in different sectors ;
- Advising in board-level contract reviews and undertaking corporate consultations and escalations within the Atos Group ;
- Handling large-scale disputes ;
- Advising on public procurement issues, data protection law and TUPE matters.

Skills we can’t do without:
- A qualified solicitor or barrister with demonstrable post-qualification experience, preferably with experience of commercial, contract management and disputes ;
- Excellent academic qualifications ;
- Previous experience in the IT sector ;
- Experience in reviewing and drafting outsourcing, consulting, licensing, hosting, software development contracts ;
- Experience negotiating with customers, suppliers and partners ;
- Ability to deliver and handle personal workload ;
- Enthusiasm, motivation, flexibility, and proactivity in solving issues ;
- Good team spirit.
Skills we’d like:
- International experience ;
- Experience in dealing with the Public Sector.
