The Role:
Oxfam GB is looking for a Senior Systems Administrator who will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our core infrastructure in our global regional offices and within our cloud hosted environments in Azure.

Resourcefulness is a key requirement of this role, you should be able to respond to requests and diagnose problems quickly so that our technology runs smoothly.
The role will work alongside a wide variety of IT teams and key stakeholders across several countries, you will need to have strong communication skills to respond to incoming support requests and be able to work alongside others to help maintain our systems.
We are looking for someone who has experience in supporting the following :
– Supporting the IT infrastructure by creating, building, and maintaining virtual machines and other Infrastructure and providing support throughout its lifecycle for security and maintenance updates.
– Monitoring system performance of the infrastructure and to ensure that issues are addressed as they appear.
– Creating reports, logging changes and documenting information to ensure that systems meet our internal and regulatory compliance standards.
– Stakeholder relationship experience, supporting the sever owners to ensure that the environments created for them is fit for purpose and is configured correctly, offering advice on the most suitable and cost-effective methods to provide a solution based on their requirements.
