The Position
The Program Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing the delivery of the Clackamas County Community Based Organization Capacity Recovery Assistance Program at MCNW. This includes daily management of program activities and ensuring appropriate systems and support mechanisms are in place to track, analyze and report on results. This individual will have experience managing federal awards, building the capacity of nonprofits, and connecting organizations with resources. This position will contribute to the strategy, systems development, relationship development, and administration of the Clackamas County Community Based Organization Capacity Recovery Assistance Program at MCNW. The Manager would work closely with the Finance and Compliance Manager, who would be disbursing and overseeing less than subgrants to the beneficiary organizations and conducting the initial pre-award, financial assessment for each of the beneficiary organizations. The Program Manager will use Mercy Corps’ Organizational Capacity Index (OCI) tools to work with subgrantees to prioritize and execute capacity building activities to help strengthen organizations and build their sustainability and resilience.

- BA/S or equivalent in business, finance, banking, community development, economics and/or other relevant field or entrepreneurial experience. (Professional work at or near the level of this position can substitute year for year for the educational requirement);
- 4+ years of professional experience in related field;
- Fluent in Microsoft suite of programs; Word, Excel, Outlook;
- Experience with MS365, SharePoint, Google Docs, database programs a plus;
- Experience managing or working with sub-grant projects a plus;
- Experience strengthening local organizations and tracking progress against agreement objectives;
- Experience managing a federal USG award is a plus;
- Second language fluency a plus.
