The RTI University Collaboration Office seeks a prospect for the Food Environments Internship within the Social, Statistical, & Environemntal Sciences (SSES) unit.
The internship will be in RTI’s Global Public Health Impact Center, which conducts research on global health security and maternal & child epidemiology and nutrition.
RTI is currently conducting personal food environment studies to assist in the design of market system and nutrition programs in 3 African countries and carrying out an evaluation of a food systems program aimed at improving nutrition.
Learning Objectives:
- Develop and strengthen research skills, including the ability to critically review and synthesize scientific literature;
- Gain experience in quantitative data analysis.
