Enterprise Systems team (EST) is responsible for implementing, maintaining and improving our Enterprise Systems such as our ERP, CRM, collaboration, content management, BI platforms and other “one off” solutions. A small EST provides support to approx. 450 staff located in 20 offices worldwide. Our Enterprise systems are built on 4 core platforms, namely Salesforce.com, Unit4 Business World, Zoom and Box.com. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to design, build, support and provide training on our reporting platforms ie Salesforce and visualisation platform
The Data Specialist will also play a significant role in supporting the ambition set out in our Strategic Plan 2021- 2025 to become a Data Driven organisation
Reporting to Head of Enterprise Systems, this is a Contract of Indefinite Duration and is based in Maynooth or Belfast.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the rollout of our data visualisation platform
- Manage Trocaire’s data visualisation platform
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data-automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics to support key business decisions
- Identify, design, and implement automated processes to generate key organisational reports and dashboards
- Use best in class approach for data management principles and methodologies
- Mentor/support/train other team members and the wider organisation on best practise in relation to data management, data warehousing and reporting
- Provide support and training on our reporting and visualisation platforms
- Manage relationships with key external suppliers, partners and peer organisations in relation to our data platforms
- Contributing to and/or taking the lead on specific projects as agreed upon by the Head of Enterprise Systems
- Produce and update relevant documentation and procedures.
- To take on other duties that may be assigned by the Head of Enterprise Systems.

Requirements
Person Specification – Essential Requirements
(E) Qualification
- IT/Data Analytics qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.
(E) Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in Salesforce Reporting or using visualisation tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau etc.
(E) Skills
- Advanced Excel and MS Access skills & confident in running advanced queries and reports;
- Advanced Salesforce skills, including building dashboards and reports;
- Strong knowledge and experience in data querying, data mining, data segmentation and working with data from multiple sources;
- Competency in advanced queries using MS SQL and also ideally in Salesforce SOQL;
- Competency in BI cube development, maintenance and deployment using Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL;
- Strong Analytical skills;
- Competency with one or more Business Intelligence and data visualisation tools, e.g. tableau, Microsoft power BI;
- Proven project-management skills.
