The Role:

Oxfam is looking for Radio Operator works closely with Safeguarding and MEAL teams, which are working on prevention of PSEA and Ensuring Quality of programs respectively. This role handles any complaints which are related with Oxfam.  The operator receives and direct complaints to relevant department in the organization (Safeguarding; MEAL; HR and Fraud).

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • Degree/diploma on communication; social science or another relevant field which can bring value to this role.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in operator, radio operations as well a certificate in Radio Communications and other social science related positions preferably in a crisis context.
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and impactfully with a range of program participants; stakeholders including Oxfam staffs.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and communications skills, at least a minimum of 3 to 4 languages including the ability to read and write when necessary.
  • Proven ability to keep confidentiality of reported cases
  • Good knowledge of culture of the community that Oxfam working in.
