Project Background

Sightsavers support a number of mass drug administration (MDA) coverage evaluation surveys (CES) to validate reported coverage and understand where, amongst who and why there may be low coverage. There are a number of upcoming schistosomiasis/soil-transmitted helminths CES in 2023, that require support for the statistical analysis (using STATA), these are in Chad (13 Evaluation Units (EUs) in phase 1 and 18 EUs in phase 2), Nigeria (approx. 14 EUs) and DRC (10 EUs).

Sightsavers already have standardised STATA do-files, although they will need to be adapted for each country. There is also a standard analysis plan that will need to be followed, although with possibility to do further analysis as suggested by the data.

Deliverables

  • Completed do-files for each of the three countries;
  • Cleaned datasets for each of the three countries;
  • Analysis report, one for each of the three countries (EU-level data) – as per analysis plan and standardised report template.

In total this Consultancy will be for 17 days work over the course of Q3 and Q4, with a view for repeat work after completion.

Budget and payment schedule

As agreed between Sightsavers and the consultant.
