Action Contre la Faim recrute un Chef de Département WASH basé en Ukraine.
VOTRE POSTE ET VOS RESPONSABILITÉS
Under the responsibility of the Deputy Country Director Programs, the main activities will be to define the country WASH strategy and positioning of the WASH technical department, to coordinate and supervise its implementation in order to guarantee the quality, relevance and scaling up of WASH program of the mission, in conformity with ACF and international standards and national policies. Provide technical support to the WASH field team.
Some of your challenges will be to :
– cooperate with municipal authorities to restore water and sanitation infrastructure; support to health facilities for repairs to ensure standards in WASH in healthcare; hygiene kits (technical oversight); emergency preparedness and capacity building
– define the wash team set-up (not fully staff at the moment) in country comprises engineer, program managers, technicians, and wash officers) with other positions under recruitment
VOTRE PROFIL
- Master’s degree in Engineering or similar;
- At least 3 years of field experience in WASH programming with international NGOs;
- Technical expertise in WASH in issues associated with a developed country context, or experience in industrialised countries is highly desired;
- Experience in volatile, conflict-affected and complex operating environments and excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills are required;
- Experience in negotiation and problem solving ;
- Strong experience and knowledge of ACF processes is an asset;
- Experience of working with partners and arranging in-kind agreements etc is an asset ;
- Knowledge of the local languages (Ukrainian and / or Russian) is an asset;
- Oral and written fluency in English is mandatory
VOS CONDITIONS D’EMPLOI
- 6 months fixed term contract under French legislation
- Monthly gross salary from 2450 to 2800 € upon experience
- Monthly per diem and living allowance: 686 € net, field paid
- Monthly country allowance: 450 €
- Child allowance: 1500€ per year per child present in the country of origin (maximum 6000€/year)
- 16% of the gross monthly salary for pension insurance reimbursement for non-French citizens
- Transportation and accommodation: Coverage of transportation costs and guest house
- Medical coverage: 100% coverage of health contributions (social security + health insurance) and repatriation insurance
- Leaves and RnR: 25 days of paid leaves per year, 20 RnR per year and 215 € at each RnR period
