Objective :
The purpose of the assignment is to support the scaling up of Dawwie community engagement package in targeted governorates -including but not limited to Assuit, Aswan, Sohag, Qena, Fayoum and Cairo.
The field coordinator will be supporting the C4D Officer in capacity building sessions, activities coordination on the ground, monitoring and documenting activities implementation.
Activities, deliverables, and timelines, plus budget per deliverable :
Tasks and activities :
- Provide support to coordination with field civil society organizations and local government partners in targeted governorates ;
- Support and participate technical coordination meetings with partners (government, civil society, etc), prepare notes and support the follow up on implementation of recommendations and actions agreed ;
- Provide support and coordination with partners and stakeholders in the revision of the M&E tools of the programme ;
- Provide support and technical coordination to the implementation of publicity and visibility events/activities (including material, manuals, reports, case studies, video and photo documentation, etc.) ;
- Support the identification of potential children, adolescents and youth candidates from Dawwie program beneficiaries to create cadre of Dawwie ambassadors and for potential portraying in human interest stories ;
- Provide support through participation and monitoring of e-based TOT workshops and implementation of activities and provide updates and inputs including compiling and analysing data on the progress of the key project activities from the different implementing partners.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
The contractor should be a resident of Egypt and is expected to possess the following qualifications :
-
- University degree in development or social sciences or any related field ;
- Minimum 5 years of community mobilization experience in Egypt, preferably in the selected governorates ;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in field work, preferably in rural areas ;
- Experience with UNICEF and /or other UN agencies, government entities and INGOs will be an asset ;
- Excellent command and fluency in English and Arabic (reading and writing) is a must ;
- Strong understanding of UNICEF’s communication for development role is a must ;
- Experience to work with government counterparts and international organizations.
