Background :
UNICEF Egypt, based in Cairo, has an opportunity for a dedicated and proactive professional to work as a consultant/contractor in the supply Unit Under the direct supervision of the Supply Officer.

To provide the following service to UNICEF Egypt:
1- Assist in creating Matrixes for RFQs, ITBs and RFPs
2- Assist in regular follow up with suppliers on delivery dates and distribution of supplies.
3- Assist in obtaining any incomplete information in proposals submitted by different suppliers.
4. Assist in the regular follow up with suppliers to submit proposals and samples if required
5- Assist in the regular follow up with governmental authorities (when required )
6- Assist in the regular follow up ministry of finance including regular visits to receive VAT refund.
7- Assist in the regular follow up with customs clearing agencies
8- Assist in reviewing and completing the filing system.
9- Any other related supply tasks as requested by the supervisor

The duration of the consultancy post is 7 calendar months
|
Payment is against deliverable – monthly .

Qualifications, specialized experience and additional competencies :
- Education : a bachelor’s degree is required ;
- Work Experience: at least three years of relevant experience in supply and logistics, with Range and depth of relevant experience especially with similar posts ;
- Computer skills and language skills: solid knowledge in Microsoft office applications ( excel/word ) and good English skills

Fee for services to be provided based on the deliverables in the Terms of Reference.
