At WFP, we are looking for experienced Storekeepers to support our logistics operations in our offices in mutliple duty stations ( 12 Positions in Kosti of which 10 of them are FT- G4 and 02 are SC 4; 01 Position in Kassala FT- G 4; 02 Positions in Gedaref-SC 4, 02 Positions in Nyala FT- G 4, 01 Position in E Daein – FT- G4, 01 Position in El Fasher-FT- G4, 01 Position in Zalingei SC 4), to be hired on both a Fixed Term at the G4 level and Service contract SC 4

WFP Sudan has the potential to reach millions of food insecure people across Sudan – with a total of 7.8 million people assisted in 2020. WFP Sudan, one of the largest and complex operations for the UN WFP, is currently rolling out its five-year Country Strategic Plan (2019-2023), which aims to provide emergency assistance through a hybrid approach (Cash, food and vouchers), along with life-changing types of programmes (Nutrition, Resilience and School Feeding).
To handle receipt/dispatch and verification of commodities in order to maximize quality of warehouse operations and mitigate losses, and to support the best storage management practices in compliance with WFP warehouse standards and established guidelines
Under the direct supervision of the the Logistics Officer, the Storekeeper will be responsible from the following duties:
Education: Completion of secondary school education or a Post- Secondary certificate preferably, a Diploma Courses in Stores Management, Statistics, Business Administration or any other rleated field.
Experience: At least three years of progressively responsible work experience in the field of Storekeeping, transport, administration, accounting, statistics or another related field.Language: Fluency in both English and Arabic.
• Experience using logistics databases to extract routine reports. • Experience in managing warehouses with food and NFIs. • Experience in managing inventories. • Experience in processing invoices.
