Job Description
- Understand the broad political, social and media environment in Mozambique to identify communications opportunities as well as reputational risks and advise Project leadership accordingly;
- Prepare social media strategies and prepare content specifically for social media;
- Draft articles, newsletters and web copy and other communications material;
- Prepare and implement issue-specific communications plans as required;
- Helping to develop, edit and design organizational communications documents and material;

Candidate profile
- University-level degree in communications, journalism or other relevant field.
- 6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in the energy and resources sector preferred.
- Demonstrable experience developing strategies and preparing content for social media.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences through different channels.
- Proficiency in English required (written and verbal).
- Exemplary Microsoft PowerPoint Skills.
- Ability to work independently to carry out tasks to a high professional standard.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
