- This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website: https://www.afdb.org/en/documents/gpn-uganda-kampala-city-roads-rehabilitation-project on 21st February 2020 ;
- The Government of Uganda has received Financing from the African Development Bank Group towards the cost of the Kampala City Roads Rehabilitation Project (KCRRP). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Road construction civil works for the upgrading of roads and junctions to improve mobility in Kampala ;
- The Kampala Capital City Authority now invites sealed bids from bidders for the execution of the works indicated below :

- Interested bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address below ;
- A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of Uganda Shillings 500,000/= or its equivalent in a convertible currency. The method of payment will be by Assessment Forms which shall be processed from the PDU offices Room B116 on 1st Floor, Block B, City Hall. Payment shall be made in the bank of choice. The bidding documents will be issued to the bidders or their representatives upon presentation of the general receipt to the PDU office, Room B117 ;
- The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Works ;
- Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 11:00 hours on 15th January 2021 and must be accompanied by a bid security as indicated below :
