Scholarship Description:
The Bayer Foundations offers a range of fellowships and stipends for Masters and PhD students in Germany. These programs are designed to support talented and motivated students who are pursuing degrees in the natural sciences, engineering, medicine, or agriculture.
Here are some of the key programs offered by the Bayer Foundations:
- Carl Duisberg Scholarships: These scholarships are aimed at students who are pursuing a degree in the fields of biology, chemistry, pharmacy, and related disciplines. The scholarship includes a monthly stipend of 850 euros, as well as travel allowances and other benefits.
- Jeff Schell Scholarship: This scholarship is aimed at PhD students who are conducting research in the fields of biology, biochemistry, genetics, or plant sciences. The scholarship includes a monthly stipend of 1,350 euros, as well as travel allowances and other benefits.
- Otto Bayer Scholarship: This scholarship is aimed at students who are pursuing a degree in the fields of biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or related disciplines. The scholarship includes a monthly stipend of 1,000 euros, as well as travel allowances and other benefits.
- Bayer Science & Education Foundation Fellowship: This fellowship is aimed at students who are pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, or engineering. The fellowship includes a monthly stipend of up to 2,000 euros, as well as travel allowances and other benefits.

Eligible Nationalities:
This scholarship is open to international students.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants are eligible for up to 10,000€ in funding and can undertake fellowships for between 2 weeks and six months. People studying in Germany must undertake placements in second country & those studying outside Germany must undertake their fellowships at a German research institution.
