Job Description


Coordination – Support the management to elaborate the Strategic Plan for the area aligned with the Company’s ambition; report and follow-up the management regarding the activities and achievements of the area; lead the Communications team to execute the actions of the plan; and implement tools and reports to guarantee the tracking, performance and deployment of all the communications subsystems.


Media Relations – Support the management to elaborate and execute the affiliate’s Media Plan; interface with the affiliate’s PR agency; alignment and approvals with the headquarters on media subjects; relationship with journalists; replying to media inquiries; writing press releases, media statements, key-messages, Q&As and talking points; planning media trainings for executives; media monitoring.


Internal Communications – Support to elaborate and lead the team to execute the Internal Communication Plan (ICP) in the perimeter of the strategy, execution and integration of the content, unfolding in the various internal and external communication channels; propose strategies that increase the flow of information in the various levels of the affiliate – leadership + employees and between areas; responsible for cascading the Total Group position in the affiliate; support the team in planning and implementation of internal campaigns, endomarketing actions, internal programs and internal events.


Corporate Communications and Events – Focal point in Brazil for the local corporate campaign (COTOBEN) – editorial content validation/review and local content creation/update in synergy with all affiliates in Brazil, support the implementation of the local media plan for launch and following waves with the headquarters’ team; support the management and the team in the implementation of Corporate Communications strategy covering external events and sponsorships (technical, universities, brand); social media monitoring; responsible for the content alignment of the affiliate,such as internet, dark site, newsletter and institutional content considering speeches, printed material (brochure, press kit, presentations) and videos.


Social Investment and Sponsorship – Coordinate the development, implementation and execution voluntary commitments on citizenship initiatives through Total Foundation pillars, aligned with the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy of Total. The activities planned shall be fully aligned with Societal team that holds the actions related operational area, in order to identify synergies. Integrate the initiatives related the internal volunteering program within the social projects actions as much as possible.


Crisis Communications – Support the management to put in place the Crisis Communication Management Plan and perform actions in the affiliate’s Incident Management Team when requested. Responsible for the dark site of the affiliate.


HSE – Respect HSE policies and TEPBR code of ethics and conduct. Keep up-to-date medical exams as outlined in the PCMSO. Participate in HSE trainings and lectures. Know the emergency response routine and participate in the simulated exercises. Collaborate in 5S maintenance of the office and selective collection of waste. Communicate to the HSE all situations of risk, accidents and near accidents in the company.

Candidate profile


    

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications and Post-graduation in Corporate Communications or related areas;
    • 

  • Experience in multinational companies;
    • 

  • Good knowledge of Oil & Gas industry;
    • 

  • Fluent in English;
    • 

  • Multitask and able to work under pressure and sharp deadlines;
    • 

  • Initiative, creativity, adaptability and dynamism;
    • 

  • Planning skills.
