The Data Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting the Resettlement team with regular reports on data documenting service quality. The data sources the Data Specialist will analyze include: data in IRC databases, including Efforts to Outcomes (ETO), the Idaho Statewide Refugee Information System (SRIS), Immigration and Refugee Information System (IRIS), and others as needed; as well as hardcopy client case files.
•Reviewing client files for contract compliance at closure of cash benefits programs, including checking that required services were completed timely, that case notes meet funder expectations, that documents in files are consistently organized and easily navigable following IRC HQ rules. Providing guidance to Resettlement Team members for corrections to meet quality and compliance expectations.
•Producing reports from all relevant database tracking trends of quality of service delivery, and quality of meeting documentation requirements of IRC contracts.
•Supporting Resettlement team in monitoring preparation as needed.
•Supervising interns and volunteers assisting in data quality tasks.
•Being the primary point of contact with IRC data staff and funder data staff, ensuring that all needed data corrections are completed timely.
•Participating in all program meetings, staff development activities, and fully engage as a member of the IRC team.
•Complying with all policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency.
•Other related duties as assigned.
Profil
•Undergraduate degree required.
•Experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations; cross-cultural or overseas experience preferred.
•Flexibility and demonstrated ability to maintain responsibility for multiple tasks in the context of a diverse, fast-paced work environment.
•Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
•Proven experience in data analysis and/or building compliance systems.
•Highly organized self-starter with proven success managing multiple priorities, making critical decisions and delivering results in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
•Demonstrated success achieving goals.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Web based database experience, both with data extraction and design, preferred.
Working Environment:
•Standard office setting at IRC’s office in Boise; availability to remain on call as needed nights and weekends.
•Access to reliable transportation to travel and work off-site at programs
•Current, valid Idaho driver’s license.
