Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of semi-monthly payrolls using ADP Payforce National
- Process assigned payroll payments, expenses or allowances
- Coordinate the transfer of salary funds to the bank
- Maintain the payroll master file and ensure that all increases, adjustments, leave, variable pay and bonus provisions are accurately calculated and recorded
- Maintain Timesheets for all staff, assist with import and posting process
- Liaising and processing service termination functions and on-boarding
- Respond to queries from employees and external agencies on payroll and benefits related issues
- Ensure proper filing of all payroll records and maintain confidentiality
- Assist with Superannuation Guarantee reporting compliance requirements, processing superannuation payments, group and payroll tax
Required Qualifications:
- Certificate in Payroll Office Administration or similar
- Experience in full function of Payroll processing
- Experience working with major payroll systems – ADP Payforce experience advantageous
- Knowledge of Payroll Tax and Superannuation requirements in Australia advantageous
- Understanding of basic accounting practices and procedures
