Family and Child Connect are local, community-based services that help families to care for and protect their children at home. This is a full-time, permanent role.
Broadly speaking, the FaCC Team Leader will;
- Leading, developing and motivating a dedicated and driven team;
- Providing formal professional supervision (minimum monthly);
- Supporting and monitoring the programs to ensure all targets are met;
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders;
- Oversee the provision of holistic case management, delivering support to vulnerable and disadvantaged clients and supporting relationships for favourable client outcomes;

Does this sound like you?
You’re an experienced Team Leader with high levels of initiative and flexibility alongside cultural sensitivity and knowledge. You’re able to respond calmly and effectively in complex situations.
This role requires:
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to build a cohesive and high performing team
- Experience in building strong networks and partnerships in community
- Ability to manage competing priorities and de-escalate complex scenarios
- Current valid driver’s licence
- A Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology, or relevant Human Service Qualification and/or significant experience in a similar service
- Experience working with individuals from culturally diverse communities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families
- Knowledge and understanding of the stresses on vulnerable families and the range of family risk and protective factors which impact on child outcomes
