Appel à candidature : Save the Children recrute un Rédacteur d’appels d’offres basé en Australie.
We champion the children, young people and families we work with. We are inspired by the curiosity and creativity of children and motivated by the love of those who care for them.
With the child’s voice at the centre, we provide quality services to children and their caregivers, advocating with them so that children develop, learn, and are connected, safe and confident. Our people are proudly local, reflective of the communities we serve – in every state and territory, and across regions, remote areas and capital cities.
Where you come in:
In this full-time, permanent position based ideally in Melbourne (flexible WFH / Carlton Office – we’ll consider other capital cities for the right candidate), you’ll draft and coordinate winning high value tenders and grants to state and federal governments to deliver quality services for children, young people and families across Australia. As part of 54 reasons’ central business development team, you’ll report to our Bid Specialist and will work with a team of technical experts.
You will make an impact by:
- Supporting business development decision-making and strategic positioning;
- Planning and coordinating tenders and proposals with operational and technical teams;
- Drafting concise, compelling and high value tenders and proposals;
- Contributing to continuous quality improvement in business development.
Does this sound like you?
You are a self-starter with exceptional writing skills who can quickly analyse and synthesise technical information into clear and compelling content. Ideally you will have knowledge of the Australian social services or social policy sectors and / or demonstrated experience writing successful tender responses or influential briefings on public policy. You have an eye for detail, are driven to meet strict submission deadlines, and love crafting a great story tied to measurable outcomes and impact.
This role requires:
- Ability to quickly review and synthesise technical information in policy, tender or other government documents, with experience in a professional writing or policy role;
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and ability to operate across hybrid teams (virtual and face to face, remote, regional and metro);
- Ability to self organise to deliver on strict timelines, with strong initiative and problem-solving skills and an openness to adjust ways of working to achieve business objectives;
- Strong professional writing skills, with the ability to convert technical content into bids that are concise, easy to understand, and tailored to target audience;
- Openness to learning on the job including participating in available coaching, supervision and after action bid reviews.
