Programme international juniors en analyste de test MIG6 (H /F), Belgique
Job Description
Context:
After 10 years of liberalization and under the impulse of the distribution grid operators (DGO), the Belgian energy market has turned in 2019 to capitalize on the experience gained and support new modes of use and production of energy (i.e. decentralized productions, smart meters).
The different market players are in the process of setting up a new Market Implementation Guide: MiG 6.
In this context, Lampiris has Launched a program to ensure the transformation of the trade to make it compatible with MIG6, starting from the management of the market and operational processes and going up to the review of the models of pricing, forecasting and the B2B and B2C customer offer.
Your mission as a Tester:
As a tester (m/f) MIG 6, you are involved in the testing activities regarding the MIG 6 project. You have a good knowledge of the future processes (MIG6) and understand the processes of the different departments impacted in the project (Market operations, registration, move, billing, accounting, finance, etc…)
You execute testing activities within your team and/or other market players (ATRIAS, DGO, other suppliers).
You identify the test cases to be performed in order to test the positive and negative behaviors of the business processes by means of the developed systems and identify potential gaps. You verify (together with your team) that the systems made available are sufficiently easy, user friendly and efficient to allow their use in production by the operators.
You report your results in a clear way, register the defects in the tools provided and follow up in collaboration with the Test Coordinator and/or Project Manager.
Specifically, you are responsible for the following activities:
Functional testing of subjects covered by MIG 6 (UAT):
- Learn and master the operational procedures in force
- Mastering data flows between tools and testing automation tools (JMeter)
- Mastering of data exchange, DMR, XML, WebService and Payload calls, DB querying via SQL
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, operation SPOCs and developers
- Prioritize test execution and feedback to developers rather than methodological correctness or documentation
- Ensure traceability of tests carried out for their reproduction with/by the developers
- Monitor and retest corrections made
- Read XML messages that conform to ATRIAS specifications as needed
- Report on the progress of the tests, the quality observed and the risk/issues to the test manager
Functional market tests (pre-MIT (extended), MIT,…):
- Carry out the tests foreseen in the framework of (pre)MITs with ATRIAS and other parts of the market through the internal tools
- Follow-up of HP ALM tests carried out within the framework of (pre) MIT tests;
- Report the defects in the appropriate tool (HP ALM, internal tools (Jira)) depending on the part involved in the resolution
- Report on the progress of the tests, the quality observed and the risk/issues to the test manager
