The Chief People Office (CPO) provides a solution-oriented service ensuring strategic human capital investments can be utilized to enhance timely and effective decision making to achieve the overall NCIA’s goals and objectives. CPO establishes and administers policies, guidance and best practices across its Centers of Excellence including Workforce Management, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Staff Services.
The CPO Military Center of Excellence is responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of human resources plans and programs for military workforce.
As an Intern – Chief People Office, Military Support, you will support:
- Assist in the update of Military CPO Policies and Procedures;
- Process and maintain information on our internal web pages
- Support the creation of manning presentations, briefings and speaking notes;
- Manage the military job descriptions;
- Monitor and report weekly progress of the nations’ feedback regarding military rotations;
- Monitor the military newcomers;
- Check the accuracy of databases – military and civilian – in full coordination with the local points of contact and via the nations’ feedback;
- Learn how to conduct basic data analysis for to help inform decisions made by our CPO leaders.
Who you are:
- A recent graduate or current student in a graduate or undergraduate school program in Human Resources or a related study;
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint);
- Familiarity with statistical reports;
- Ready and eager to learn and apply our CPO processes and methods;
- An analytical and innovative problem solver;
- Open minded and with a can-do attitude;
- Good communication and relationship skills and an excellent command of the English language.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply to our internship program, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- You are a national of a NATO member country;
- You are currently studying towards a university-level degree or have recently graduated in the past 12 months;
- You have strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
