Child safeguarding:
Level 3: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
Role purpose:
To support project team for the effective and successful planning, implementation of case management project activities, in collaboration with Project coordinator and Program Manager. In the event of training & workshop related child protection case management, the role holder will be expected to support logistic arrangement in collaboration with respective support service team in Yangon and project implementing sites.

Travel: Frequent travel to the fields
Key areas of accountability
- Assist and check in preparing payments for project related activities which submitted by program staff
- Coordinate with Unicef for any logistic preparation for discharge events (if required) and CPCM training and workshop
- Maintain a filing system of project related documents and letters communicate with government counterparts
- Maintain a register on books and publications received from Unicef and other projects
- Make sure assist in preparing any logistic related and administrative for all trainings and workshops to be organized by project team across regions
- Hotel booking, air ticketing and other logistical arrangement for all project staff for field trips and monitoring trips with coordination with support service team.
- Contact and share information to all project staff and partner staff for any trainings and events
- Coordinate with logistic team for any procurement request for project related activities.
- Managing stationery supply for regular learning sessions, review workshop and trainings.
- Coordination with IT team for project related IT equipment maintenance and repair
- Communicating with other agencies and partners working in the area and staff from regional office such as urgent information sharing for the project activities, confirmation about participants for trainings and working group meetings etc
- Assist in documentation of capacity building workshops and trainings for variety of stakeholders.
- Assist in procurement of materials, supplies and maintenance of project equipment and repair.
- Assist supervisor in preparing budget estimation for trainings and invitation to other agencies to participate at trainings
- Keep records of activities, and report regularly and as requested on programme progress.
- Any other duties and tasks assigned by supervisor
Child Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure that all beneficiaries of your program are receiving ongoing, age-appropriate verbal or written information in relevant languages about Save the Children’s Child Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.
Qualifications, experience and skills
- Any Graduate or equivalent experiences
- One year professional working experience in program implementation
- Professional working experience with international organizations
- Proven team working ability
- Good communication skills
- Computer proficiency (or at least willingness to learn)
- Ability to live and travel in remote locations
- Interest & willingness to learn from team members to provide support effectively
- Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values and principles
- Experience and ability to represent Save the Children’s case management work in external meetings with partners
- Demonstrable ability at documentation and excellent communication skills
