ExxonMobil recruits a (Auto Storage Auto Retrieval) ASRS Warehouse System Engineer – Huizhou

1)  Implement, commission/startup and maintain ExxonMobil Huizhou Chemical Complex (HCC) ASRS warehouse’s control systems, primarily Warehouse Control System (WCS), PLCs, and L3 network.
2)  Oversight onsite 3rd party operator of ASRS warehouse performing reliable systems maintenance and backup to ensure high control systems availability to support operation demand.
3)  Interface with onsite 3rd party operator of ASRS warehouse to troubleshoot  day-to-day operation and system related problems with WCS , WMS as well as with the various PLCs located throughout onsite logistics premise
4)  Responsible for ensuring all HCC ASRS warehouse operating systems and any stand-alone systems meet ExxonMobil security and controls requirements.
5)  Support HCC on capital and expense enhancement projects related to any HCC ASRS warehouse systems.
6)  Assume network administrator functions for HCC ASRS warehouse’s networks and information database.  Perform user support and account setup for these systems.
7)  Interface with EMIT to maintain HCC ASRS warehouse’s vital links to SAP, local and wide area networks.
8)  Provide user training on the use of HCC ASRS warehouse specific systems and assist end users in solving computer related problems.
9)  Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for HCC ASRS warehousing control and management systems
10) Implement ‘Management of Change” for HCC ASRS warehousing control and management systems covering defect resolution, bug fixes and system enhancements.
11) To maintain safety, security and controls for all plant operating systems and implement changes to HCC ASRS warehouse computer control and information management systems.
12) This will be done as required to support HCC ASRS operation changes and/or changes directed by business teams.
13) Support day-to-day ASRS warehouse operation system requirements and problem troubleshooting with the goal of functional systems availability during operational hours.
14) Support and assist with capital engineering projects that enhance the capability of ASRS WCS and Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other relevant onsite logistics systems.
15) Assist with management and documentation related to the plant’s control and information managements systems.

1.  High systems availability to support HCC ASRS warehouse operations.
2.  Implement HCC ASRS warehouse project and d future upgrade on-time and within budget.
3.  Onsite 3rd party ASRS warehouse operator maintain and WCS & WMS and other system interfaces competently.

•  Bachelor degree and above in Engineering or Computer Science Degree or Equivalent Experience Required
•  High Degree of Computer Skills
•  Industry system experience to include, but not limited to:
  •  UNIX, Windows Server 10, VMWare, Foxboro I/A Systems,‘C’ Language
  •  Active directory administration
  •  Database design and client server applications
  •  PowerBuilder and SQL programming knowledge
  •  Cisco switching and configuration
  •  Process control knowledge – I/O instrumentation and batch process knowledge
•  Operations knowledge on ASRS warehousing
•  Basic mechanical & electrical knowledge
•  Knowledge of programmable controllers (electrician)
•  Basic knowledge of drive, regulating and control technology
•  Good interpersonal skills to effectively interface with third party service providers
•  Self-driven and ability to influence without authority
•  Good communication and presentation skills both in English and Chinese
