ExxonMobil recruits an Utilities and Offsite Process Department Head(Start Up Manager) – Huizhou

•Safe, efficient and on time start-up of utilities and offsite facilities in ExxonMobil Chemical Huizhou Complex, meeting Project Objectives and Strategies
•SHE – uphold the set SHE standard and practices, foster the desired safety culture & behaviors, competency and leadership in the Start-Up team. Report, investigate and learn from all incidents and near misses, eliminate root causes. Meet SHE and process safety targets
•Operation Integrity – effectively implement Operation Integrity Management System (OIMS)
•Planning – deliver a detailed plan for pre Start-Up and Start-Up deliverables, steward progress to Management. Line up resource, coordinate across functions, and meet the Start-Up schedule.
•Start-Up Preparation – ensure all pre Start-Up requirements are met, training / competency / procedures delivered on time, input to design to ensure reliable long term operation and flawless Start-Up first time.
•Leadership – responsible for team culture and behavior. Be a coach and mentor to all, implement judicious use of discipline as required.
•Controls – ensure high integrity standard at workplace, all controls requirements are met and the team has the right mindset
•Cost – prepare project cost estimate and steward to this target
•Responsible for the production up to design specification and reliability of the operations units.
•Responsible for the operating assets, annual feedstock costs, fixed costs and variable costs
•Responsible for ongoing competitiveness and continuous improvement of unit operation at site
•Responsible for stewarding and meeting all business key measures within Operations Integrity and Operations excellence for the department

•Experience

-Bachelor degree or above in Chemical Engineering or related
-Minimum 15 years work experience in Petrochemical industry with various technical and leadership role.
-Track record of leading large multi discipline teams in major events like Green field plant commissioning and start-up, maintenance Turnaround, abnormal event management, etc.
-Utilities (air, water, steam, power) and offsites (tank farm, Jetty and fuels blending) Start-Up and systems commissioning, operation, statutory & environment & ER management
-Experience in international projects, MNC or JV is an advantage.
-Understanding of Quality Management system, Reliability systems, etc.
-Profit Improvement & economics of the Operations
