TOTAL recruits a Retail Optimizer in Cairo, Egypt

Job Description

Join the retail team and become the new retail optimizer.
Directly attached to the Optim, BO and SIS manager , you will be carried out the following activities

  • Promote HSEQ corporate policy among his team, the stations staff and the company

  • Perfect knowledge and application of the Total Golden Rules

  • Use of stop card, report all near misses to maintain high culture of HSE reporting in Retail teams

  • Strict respect of code of conduct respecting our reference standards

  • Report any fraud (or attempt) or ethics potential issue to compliance officer

  • Analyze and evaluate the performance of the different kind of business model and management mode in the network

  • Define the optimal economic assumptions for dealer contracts and define the targeted exploitation fee for each station

  • Set Expected P&L for all CODO station

  • Analyze the actual P&L of all CODO for stations at least each six months and analyze the gaps vs the expected P&L  

  • Analyze the actual P&L of all COCO activities on monthly basis and analyze the gaps vs the budget

  • Measure the evolution of the contribution of each station on monthly basis (NCA)  

  • Deep data analysis in order to set action plan to reduce the costs, set assumptions for the profitability of new investments and study the financial return on investment (postmortem analysis) 

  • Monthly visit for samples of COCO & Pure CODO stations to monitor and evaluate the optimization process for station expenses (Electricity, Water consumption…etc.)

  • Follow up on Business Review for all modes of management to make sure the actions are aligned with retail strategy

  • Participate to spot projects to improve the retail performance like Salsa retail implementation or other head office projects

Candidate profile

  • You have Business or University degree with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English – Arabic
  • Retail experience is a must and SFS experience is a plus.
  • You have a good knowledge of the appropriate behavior to be adopted when risks occur
  • You have a strong ability for teamwork and have a synthetical set of mind, to look for new innovative solutions and set priorities
  • You are recognized for your good work disciplines and ethics
  • You have strong Analytical skills and you have financial awareness
  • You are result oriented, self-motivated and, you have negotiating and communication skills
  • Able to identify risky situations within the context of one’s activity and warns the relevant services (HSEQ, Operations)
