Misson:
Drive Finance Performance for a defined set of Industry Sector accounts and new logos.
Measure, control and plan the operational result of an industry at RBU level and report results to Global Industry CFO and RBU CFO.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and accountable for the measure, control and plan of operational results of the Industry organization (including but not limited to):
- KPI management, financial risk control and budget and forecast variance with actuals,
- Month end Closing activities – landing/closing positions, provisions / credit notes, project accruals,
- Monthly account performance (P&L, BS, account drivers) to support decision making
- Drive & improve customer related Working capital positions – Cash/WIP/Aged Accounts receivable
- Final review and sign off financial reporting for overall Industry to the Industry Management (business reviews, monthly analyses, summary of activities, )
- Understand and drive the identification of External Revenue and Project Margin opportunities on existing account base
- Accountable for Budget, and Forecasting in line with Group processes
- Awareness and understanding of IFRS to document financial decisions and positions taken;
- Support operational functions in
- the analyses of their activities and ensuring a performance framework with steering tools
- Review and Approve bids financials (based on delegated authority), actively support process
- Drive support and input into relevant audit control tests as part of external audit process;
- Manage Order Entry by ensuring Industry Finance correctly reviews backlog, inclusion & maintenance of new wins
- Must have a good grasp on all accounts within remit, including understanding of contractual commitments, issues with the customer, how we are supporting their growth and where future opportunities lie;
- Driving communication with Practice Controllers / Global Account Controllers / Operations team to increase account knowledge / understanding of recharges;
- Management of Account level Controlling resources assigned to Industry Clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Industry experience preferred, Energy, Utilities, Retail, Transportation, Logistics and Hospitality but not required.
