Consultance : Winrock recrute un(e) Responsable des médias sociaux / communication aux Etats-Unis.
Position Summary:
The Social Media/Communication officer will work closely with the program teams and partners to ensure consistent messaging across Entrepreneurship & Investment. He/She will support regular and timely content creation including visual conception for the inspiration component of the project. He/She will work to ensure USAID Entrepreneurship & Investment’s visibility is optimized and all online communications are USAID branding- and marking-compliant. He/She will support program communications efforts, including events’ promotion, creative implementation of varied communications strategies using social media, video, and audio.
ESSENTIAL Responsibilities:
- Support the USAID ENTREPRENEURSHIP & INVESTMENT team to communicate a clear understanding of the project’s identity and mission through consistent use of standard messages integrated into all communications, especially online. An important objective of USAID ENTREPRENEURSHIP & INVESTMENT communications is to demonstrate the activity benefits among entrepreneurs and enterprises, especially women and young people.
- Contribute toward preparation of materials (English and French) documenting USAID ENTREPRENEURSHIP & INVESTMENT’s interventions and impact. Such materials could include press releases and talking points; photographs and captions; social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube) product entries and/or Winrock blog posts; program updates; success stories, radio shows, podcasts and narrative summaries of program activities.
- Graphic design conception in accordance with USAID’s Branding and marking plan.
- Ensure that the prepared materials are well showcased on the social media pages.
- Regular collection of project-related photos, video, and other content from project staff, ensuring compliance and related to privacy, personal information, and documentation.
- Maintain records of communications outputs related to USAID ENTREPRENEURSHIP & INVESTMENT’s external-facing work, including trackers with links to social media and/or print/video media and the estimated impressions.
- Maintain records of all internal technical products and tools (guidebooks, brochures, briefers, DVDs, posters, etc.)
- Ability to travel outside of Dakar to project sites, as needed.
Qualifications and Background:
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in Communications, Business, English, Social Sciences, Graphic design or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of two years of professional expertise in communications, preferably with a background in social media marketing and graphic design
- Previous experience with women and youth engagement, expertise in graphic design and/or video and audio production is strongly preferred.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Excellent communication and organization skills are essential. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite – especially Word, PowerPoint) are required.
- Experience in Graphic Design and its software.
- Knowledge of social media tracking tools.
- Video editing and photography.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, as well as the ability to conduct professional relationships.
- Fluency in spoken and written French, English, and Wolof.
