Position Summary

The DEI CoE is hiring three two-year limited-term engagement senior project managers to oversee a range of activities related to the implementation of the foundation’s DEI Framework. Two of these roles will be fully dedicated to supporting Division and Regional leads to implement their DEI Action plans, and the third role will be dedicated to core DEI team operations. These positions will act as key members of the DEI CoE as well as the DEI & Gender Leads Community of Practice. Reporting to the DDSPM or Senior Program Manager, DEI CoE, the Senior Project Managers will oversee the planning and execution of projects and activities supporting the implementation of the Foundation’s DEI Framework and DEI Action Plans.

What You Will Do!

As a Senior Project Manager supporting the division/regional DEI action plans you will partner with the DEI CoE and other priority stakeholders to ensure activities are aligned with DEI Framework and Action Plans, including “fit-for-purpose” nuance based on the core work of the division, regions, or teams you are supporting. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Provide tactical and team leadership throughout DEI Framework and Action Plans lifecycle.

  • Ensure effective convening and communication with project team members, stakeholders, and senior leadership, and particularly between the CoE and Division/Regional leadership responsible for DEI Action Plan implementation.

  • Coordinate information sharing between CoE and Division/Regional leadership responsible for implementing DEI action plans, including ensuring key stakeholders are made aware of any new resources and deadlines.

  • Track progress toward stated outcomes through identified measures and indicators and communicate timely progress updates to CoE and key stakeholders. Includes building and maintaining implementation project plans – including informing and tracking key deliverables and milestones that will enable the stakeholders to achieve their specific DEI objectives.

  • Define change management approach, including identification of interdependencies with other planned work efforts and supporting leadership communications.

  • Manage working group meetings and communication (establishing the agenda, prepare input materials as needed, capture the notes/outputs, prepare updates for relevant LT and team meetings) to build momentum and ensure transparency of relevant information to appropriate audiences.

  • Support DEI learning agenda by making critical links between needs identified in the action plans, materials available for self-service, and nuanced plans based on division / regions’ core work.

  • Identify and contribute to the development of shared resources that would help multiple divisions / regions advance DEI work.

  • Manage process for updating and evolving DEI Action plans as actions are completed.

  • Proactively identify issues, risks and key dependencies, including recommendations for resolution.

As a Senior Project Manager supporting DEI CoE Operations, you will:

  • Intake, triage and track internal requests for support from the DEI CoE related to support of division and regional DEI Action Plans

  • Build DEI capacity by creating efficient processes for projects such as the following:

  • Create and maintain SharePoint and MSFT Teams sites

  • Provide vendor coordination and onboarding as we build out a bench of L&D resources, partners, and consultants

  • Schedule, and track DEI CoE-sponsored development opportunities, such as the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI)

  • Support for the foundation’s ERG community

  • May include Program Coordinator responsibilities for DEI-led contracts (for the DEI Center of Excellence only) including submitting contract requests and managing active contracts

  • Support with Team ROB: Scheduling team meetings, meeting notes, tracking and sharing key decisions

  • Support with knowledge management: building and maintaining effective document storage systems for critical DEI team collateral

  • Support with Stakeholder Meetings: presentation development, meeting notes, tracking and sharing key decisions

  • Support top priority projects such as ELT Scorecard development and management

  • Proven cultural competency and open to continual learning, especially regarding inclusive behaviors

  • Ability to make judgement calls while being highly professional and diplomatic, knowing when to ask for help or advice

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently produce high-quality work products; mindful and detailed in checking work to ensure accuracy and completeness

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote), Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.

Stand Out Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional certification.
