on-the-job learning by assisting experienced Air Baltic staff in aircraft structure sheet-metal repairs, whilst gaining the practical experience to become in future a certified Sheet-Metal Technician

We will entrust you to


    

  • Evaluate extend of the aircraft structure damage and complete reports;
    • 

  • Determine appropriate aircraft manufacturer approved repair scheme and prepare repair schedule;
    • 

  • Prepare aircraft structure for the repair (damaged area cut-out, fasteners drill-out, sanding, etc);
    • 

  • Carry on aircraft structure repairs (sheet-metal material cutting, rolling, bending, drilling, riveting, etc.) using sheet-metal tools (guillotine shears, rolling machines, folding machines, drilling machines, hand tools, etc.).
    • 



What You will need to succeed


    

  • Experience with sheet – metal working will be considered as an advantage
    • 

  • Good knowledge of English, Latvian and Russian languages
    • 

  • Completed secondary education
    • 

  • Interest in metal working
    • 

  • Ability to work at least 3 full days per week (from 08:00 – 20:00)
    •
