Description du poste


As Financial Advisor in the Structured Finance Team, you will be in charge of the following activities :


    

  • Actively contribute to and support Total’s growth and ambitions of Total Renewables in the Off Shore Wind (OW) sector;
    • 

  • Build financial modeling for OW projects to assess the projects’ economic profitability. Propose financial optimizations to increase projects’ profitability;
    • 

  • Maintain current internal financial models;
    • 

  • Work with all external advisors / and internal divisions of Total Group (notably tax and accounting, legal…);
    • 

  • Produce internal committee presentation (financial statements, economic, sensitivities) to senior management in relation to internal committees’ decision;
    • 

  • Assist more senior members of the team on all other project finance related tasks (due diligence, loan documentation…) and on negotiations with (potential) Equity partners;
    • 

  • Regularly share experiences and knowledge with the team to continuously improve the quality of investment management and transactions completed;
    • 

  • Contribute to improving the group’s performance by promoting collaboration and teamwork;
    • 

  • Work on a cross-functional basis with other teams of the Total Group, and coordinate with OFL department.

You  have the opportunity to join Total Renewables to take up a new challenge and join the renewables energy industry within the Total Group. As talented, committed and entrepreneurial Structured Finance advisor, you will predominantly be assigned to offshore wind projects.

The Structured Finance Team is responsible for:


    

  1. the definition of the financing strategy for Total Renewables Projects (Total Solar International, Total Solar Distributed Generation and Offshore Wind)’s projects;
    2. 

  2. actively contribute to the early positioning, marketing, and bid submission for greenfield / and single asset M&A processes for renewables projects;
    3. 

  3. raise the required debt financing to partly fund its developments / acquisitions; and
    4. 

  4. advise on equity strategies / and execute partial equity divestments – equity rotations.
    5. 





    

  • Renewables (REN)  operates in a strong growth and highly competitive environment.

  • REN maintains a high growth rate, both organic and by acquisitions, on a global geographical scope, often relying on tight schedule complex transactions with high financial, legal and execution stakes.
    • 

  • These stakes require permanent seamless coordination with business entities, the Branch and Group.
    • 









 


Profil recherché


 


    

  • You have a master’s degree in finance or economics and a relevant experience in project finance / direct investment preferably in the infrastructure / renewables sector .
    • 

  • You have :

      

    • strong financial analysis and modeling skills, deep understanding and comfort with cash flows, IRR, NPV calculations ;
      • 

    • strong presentation and interpersonal skills ; ability to communicate clearly, in both oral and written forms.
      • 

    

    • 

  • The team will appreciate your capacity of advancing multiple work streams simultaneously and your autonomy.
    • 

  • Fluent English is required and experience working in multi-cultural /Multi-site environnement is a plus.
    •
