You’re looking for people to volunteer from home!
Project Play is a grassroots organisation facilitating structured play sessions for children who are living in informal migrant camps and accommodation centres across Calais, Grande-Synthe and the surrounding regions. Our sessions are designed to facilitate a safe space in which children coming through northern France can build resilience, nurture key developmental skills, create positive memories for themselves, and have fun. Through offering play-based psychosocial support, our team works to assist children and their families in minimising the impact of toxic stress, trauma and ongoing adversity.
We are looking for creative people to join our new fundraising team ASAP! The team will work collaboratively remotely to come up with original fundraising campaigns to help us keep playing. The role begins soon and you will receive an induction and ongoing training opportunities, for you to learn and grow as a volunteer.
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have experience working in social media, fundraising or events organising OR would like to learn more about them
- Feel strongly about every child’s right to play and education
- Think creatively and outside the box
- Have a good level of written and spoken English
- Can commit to a minimum of 2 hours every other week
- Understand the challenging context of Northern France and working with displaced families
Prior social media and fundraising experience is desirable, but not essential.
If you want to apply for the role please apply here.
