GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE
THE REPUBLIC OF THE GAMBIA
CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR BANKABLE FEASIBILITY ASSESSMENT AND INVESTMENT PREPARATION STUDIES FOR THE BANJUL PORT 4th EXPANSION PROJECT
GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE
- The Government of The Republic of Gambia (GoTG) has applied for a reimbursable grant financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) Project Preparation Facility (PPF) to finance Consultancy Services for Bankable Feasibility Assessment and Investment Preparation Studies for the Banjul Port 4th Expansion Project.
- 2. The principal objectives of this project are to facilitate the implementation of the Port Expansion project components as recommended in the Port of Banjul Master Plan 2018 – 2038 and Business Plan 2019-2023, due to the limited capacity of the Port of Banjul to address the increased demand posed on the facility. This situation often leads to congestion to the extent that this capacity constraint is increasingly undermining the efficiency of the Port and its resultant negative impact on the costs of trading in The Gambia.
- The project includes the following components:
- Bankable feasibility assessment & due diligence – technical, financial, commercial, market,
economic, risk, institutional and legal.
- Establishment of Virtual Data Room
- Investment documentation – Project Information Memorandum.
- Acquisition of the services of Consultants will follow the Bank’s ““Procurement Policy and Methodology for Bank Funded Operations, October 2015”. Solicitation documents are expected to be available in June 2021.
- Interested bidders may obtain further information, and should confirm their interest, by contacting:
