Even though the duty station is listed as either Bangkok, Hanoi, or Jakarta, consideration may be given to allow the position to be in any home-based location, depending on the incumbent’s personal situation. For a home-based position, the Bangkok time zone will be strongly preferred, and a location-specific fee scale will be applied in determining the contractor’s fee.
Education :

Advanced University Degree (Master’s Degree or equivalent) preferably in Economics, Political Science, Social Sciences, Energy Studies Project Management, Humanities, or related field with 7 years of relevant experience; or
- Relevant first level university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) with 9 years of relevant;

Prince 2 or similar project management certification will be an asset.
Experience :
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience with an advanced degree is required preferably in project or programme management, coordination, and just transition issue analysis; development, or administration, strategic planning and management, strategic liaison, donor or Partners coordination or related areas;
- Within relevant experience in coordinating complex environments, multiple and diverse stakeholder groups, generating coherency and collaboration, experience working in an international organization or internationally is required;
- Within relevant experience, experience in a senior management or advisory role is required;
- Experience implementing strategic guidance on behalf of high-level officials is desired;
- Experience in developing countries is an asset;
- Experience in planning and applying Health & Safety procedures is an asset;
- Experience in risk management for infrastructure implementation projects is an asset;
- Prior experience in Vietnam is preferred;
- Prior experience working in UN agencies and/or UNOPS is an asset.
Language
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential.
