Description :
We are looking for a Resilience Programme Delegate, to support the Danish Red Cross (DRC) and Mali Red Cross Society (MRC) in implementing a newly designed intervention which builds on the positive impact of a 3 year Disaster Risk Reduction intervention in Central Mali, and will seek at enhancing the livelihood opportunities of vulnerable families, with a focus on youth and women. In addition, aligned with the DRC Africa Strategic Priorities defined in 2021, a health component is going to be integrated to this project. It will aim at reducing the impact of crucial health problems including epidemics and non-communicable diseases on people living in rural and urban areas of the Segou and Mopti regions.
Your tasks
- Ensure field project management of the project and support MRC in the implementation of all aspects of the project activities;
- Ensure the project is implemented in line with agreed deadlines as formulated in project document and in donor contracts;
- Support the MRC staff for the quarter and annual planning of the project
Qualification
We are looking for a person who has:
- A relevant academic background coupled with minimum 5 years of field experience, preferably in a crisis situation;
- An excellent command of French & English in reading, speaking and writing;
- Technical Knowledge of Livelihood, Disaster Risk Reduction, Community health approaches;
- Excellent skills in partnership building, networking, with a sense of cultural understanding.

The right candidate will be offered a contract for a 2-year with DRC, with start date in November/December 2021 (pending Visa, Covid-19 issues etc).
