The Republic of Mozambique has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) toward the cost of the Mueda – Negomano Road Project as part of Mtwara Development Corridor- Phase II Project and intends to apply part of the agreed amount to eligible payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for “Technical Audit for the Rehabilitation Road R1251 section of 35km between Roma and Nambungale Lot A Phase II in Cabo Delgado Province”.
The National Roads Administration I.P. (ANE, I.P.), the Implementing Entity, intends to apply part of this Grants in eligible payments under the contract for which this Request for Expression of Interest is issued.
The services included under this consultancy are:
- Review and analysis of the technical aspects and results being achieved during the implementation of the project and submit it to the ANE, I.P. and to Financier ADF. Besides, make recommendations to solve any errors that could have occurred or that could lead to improvements in the implementation and results of the project and
- Assess the soundness of the contractor’s organization to implement the R1251 Section of 35 km road rehabilitation project between Roma and Nambungale, Lot A of the Mtwara – Phase II Corridor Project and verify if it is in accordance with the applicable regulations and the conditions of all Contract’s documents.
This service will run for a period of not more than Four (4) consecutive months following to the commencement date of the Contract.
The National Roads Administration (ANE, I.P.) now invites eligible Consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services.
Interested Consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).
Consultants may constitute Joint-Ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.
Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedures shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Framework” dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours 07:30 to 15:30 hours Monday to Friday.
Expressions of interest must be delivered in English language to the address below, before 10:00 hours Mozambique local time, on 23 June, 2021 and must be clearly marked: “Consultancy Services for “Technical Audit for the Rehabilitation Road R1251 section of 35km between Roma – Nambungale Lot A Phase II in Cabo Delgado Province”, Procurement Process No: 39/SEPRO-ANE,IP/351/2021.
Late submissions will not be entertained.
