This is a follow-up on the Request for Expressions of Interest (EoIs) for this project which was published in the local newspaper “Jornal Notícias” on 27 March 2020.
The objective of this notice is to inform all interested consultants that this Request for Expressions of Interest is now being issued in its second call as follows:
The Government of Mozambique (GoM), has received financing from the African Development Bank and the Strategic Climate Fund toward the cost of the Baixo Limpopo Irrigation and Climate Resilience Project (BLICRP) and intends to apply part of the agreed amount of this loan for payments under the contract Assessment of Economic, Financial and Institutional Reforms for Regadio do Baixo Limpopo, Gaza Province.
The services included under this project are to carry out an assessment of Financial and Institutional Reforms of RBL to transition into a self-reliance and Market-Oriented agency. The consultant firm will work mainly from home in close collaboration with Regadio do Baixo Limpopo EP (RBL) and with Instituto de Gestão de Participações do Estado (IGEPE), as deemed necessary, for a period of 90 calendar days.
The Regadio do Baixo Limpopo EP now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification.

Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Framework for Bank Group-Funded Operations” dated October 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org.
Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from 07.30 am to 15.30.
Expressions of Interest must be delivered to the address below by 04th of September 2020 at 11.00 a.m. and mention “Assessment of Economic, Financial and Institutional Reforms for Regadio do Baixo Limpopo, Gaza Province”.
