  1. This Request for Expressions of Interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that was published in the UNDB online and in the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website on April 18th, 2018 ;
  1. The Universidade Lúrio – UniLúrio has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Unilurio Support to Skills Development for Agriculture and Industry Project (P-MZ-I00-002), and it is intended that part of the proceeds of this grant will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for Selection of Individual Consultant for UniLurio Interconnectivity & IT ;
  1. The Individual Consultant for UniLurio Interconnectivity and IT is to provide consultant services to support and stipulate institutional development for Unilúrio’s Informatic Centre (CIUL) under the Administrative Vice Rectory supervision in the conception and design, estimated budgeting, bid documents preparation, planning, advising, supervise and validate of the field implementation of the new Unilurio’s Interconnectivity, Information Technology (IT) & Telecommunications System (TS). The main tasks of the Individual Consultant for Unilurio Interconnectivity & IT is well detailed in the Terms of Reference ;
  1. The Universidade Lúrio – UniLúrio now invites eligible Individual Consulting to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants must provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services  ;
  1. The required selected professional shall be evaluated based in the following criteria and points :
  • Master´s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Technology or other related fields: (20 points) ;
  • At least 10 years work experience within Services/Industry in IT&TS Systems:(40 points) ;
  • At least 6 years of experience in planning, design, preparation and delivery of IT&TS Systems Design services: (30 points) and
  • Fluency in Portuguese with excellent proven written and spoken English: (10 points).
  1. Eligibility criteria, establishment the selection procedures for Individual Consultants shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Policy and Methodology for Bank Funded Operations” 2015, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org ;
  1. The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be requested by E-mail at the address given below ;
  1. Expressions of interest in English Language must be delivered to the address below by 27 October 2020 at 3:00p.m. and mention “Individual Consultant for Interconnectivity & IT ”. Expressions of interest may be sent by e-mail.
