The Role :
The HR Business Partner will flex across the areas of providing People Partnering support to Oxfam in Pakistan and working on priority projects and initiatives as defined by the OI Country Director and Regional HRBP. This role will primarily support the Oxfam in Pakistan but will also provide HR interventions and coordination as required to support region activities or across the wider confederation.

Essentials :
For this role, you will need to model Oxfam’s feminist leadership approach so we have selected the most relevant feminist leadership practices which we will use for assessment purposes (which you can read more about here):
- Significant HR experience as an HR generalist in a similar leading role;
- Knowledge and understanding of Pakistan employment law and how to interpret this in all aspects of HR;
- Experience in working in an organization of minimum staff size of 60;
- Previous experience of working on HR Information management systems;
- Excellent organisation skills, interpersonal skills;
- Self-awareness, Humility, Initiation and drive to achieve results;
- A strong customer orientation;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Nepali;
- Good computer skills – Word, Excel, use of the Internet, databases and email;
- A strong commitment to Oxfam’s purpose and values, Equal Opportunities and Diversity, Gender Equity, and capacity building.
Desirable
- Professional degree in Human Resources preferably MBA;
- Six years of work experience in a similar role;
- Desirable – Knowledge, skills and experience in using HR module in PeopleSoft;
- Certification in coaching and other HR skills;
- Strong work ethic, business and cultural awareness, teamwork and sensitivity;
- Self-motivated and able to take the lead on areas of responsibility;
- Demonstrated commitment to Gender equality;
- Travel as required by the role.
