You are responsible for achieving the project planning and the quality of the installations delivered. You do this by drawing up the production plan, working instructions and procedures. It is important that you take on a coaching and support role in which you ensure continuous communication with the project managers and work planners in order to be as efficient and effective as possible at the best possible cost.

As Manager Production you are a real people manager that can’t sit still and immediately identify what needs to be done. You ensure solidarity on the work floor and know how to motivate and transfer knowledge.

Within Total Gas Mobility* you will be an MT member of the Engineering and Realization department, where you supervise 6 – 10 mechanics (internal and external) and will be reporting to the Head of Engineering and Production. As an MT member of the Engineering & Realisation department of the BU, you will also be co-responsible for future (strategic) developments.

Main tasks & responsibilities

• Translating and executing QHSE plans to ensure a safe working environment and procedures at all times by guaranteeing the safety and integrity of the design of the stations and to offer a safe workplace and enable personnel (internal and external) to work safely.
• Managing and supervising (standardized) working processes and strategy.
• Executing the strategy with a long term perspective that supports the organization and setting out short term objectives to execute. This should result in translating strategic and long term department plans into an Engineering department plan with actions to be executed.
• Responsible for planning (resources and material), executing production works according to work instructions and procedures, costs control, quality and planning of realization projects according to plan and customer expectations.
• Responsible for executing FAT.
• Responsible for obtaining a good quality work packages from the Back Office.
• Drawing up a production and resource plan in accordance with the projects plan and scale up if necessary.
• Responsible for (pro-active) communication with internal colleagues.
• Responsible for continuous improvement and optimization of processes and quality of project management of projects.
• Managing the team by motivating, training and guiding. Having a resource and succession planning. Lead by displaying inspirational leadership and encourage employees engagement.

• A completed HBO or WO study in a technical direction
• Minimum of 6 years’ of relevant work experience

• Affinity with clean energy
