About the Program:
Launched in 2018, Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) is a global initiative that brings together business, government, and civil society organizations in innovative public-private partnerships (Partnerships) that help P4G Countries meet their climate commitments under the Paris Agreement and their Sustainable Development Goals in five key areas: food and agriculture, water, energy, cities, and circular economy.During its first phase (2018 to July 2023), P4G is working with 12 Countries (Bangladesh, Chile, Colombia, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, South Africa, and Vietnam), with funding and deep collaboration with the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, the Netherlands, and the Republic of Korea. P4G supports its Partnerships to become global models for sustainable solutions through grant financing, technical assistance (including investor readiness), and policy engagement. P4G countries establish a National Platform of local public and private sector leaders to ensure alignment to national priorities, identify high-potential partnerships, and facilitate policy shifts. Through a bi-annual, high-level P4G Global Summit and key moments such as UNFCCC COPs, P4G showcases its innovative partnerships as practical demonstrations of ways forward on sustainable. development.
- What will you need:
- Education: You have a completed bachelor’s degree
- Experience: You have 6+ years of relevant full-time work experience in grants management with a non-profit or for-profit international development organization, including donor compliance reviewing budgets, and forecasts
- working knowledge and experience with European donors
- Experience designing processes for tracking grants and invoices and payments
- Extensive knowledge of advanced excel functions (including accounting and finance functions) and SharePoint
- Experience working with database management tools
- Experience reviewing work plans and budgets against strict compliance and programmatic requirements
- Experience designing and managing subgrants’ due diligence and audit processes
- Languages: You have verbal and written proficiency in English.
- Requirements: Existing work authorization is required where this position is based. WRI is unable to authorize visa work authorization.
Potential Salary:
Salary is commensurate with experience and other compensable factors.
