Job Summary
As part of the Books commissioning team you will be responsible for managing delivery of manuscripts, supporting authors through the writing process and ensuring submission of manuscripts to the agreed schedule and quality. You will optimize the amount of time between author signature of contract and the handover of the manuscript to production.
The role is responsible for the administration of the publication schedules and reporting back to the Publisher and the Commissioning Editors. The role involves liaising closely with authors and editors as well as various colleagues to ensure the books programme meets schedule and volume targets.
