As the Health Planning and Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective planning and reporting processes to support the team in making informed decisions. This will include gathering and analysing data, preparing balanced scorecard reports and presentations, and working closely with team members to identify areas for improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in data analysis and management, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

What will I be doing?
- You will work with Health and Local Crisis Response (HLCR) colleagues, strategic planning and insight and improvement to create a business planning calendar for each year that aligns to the organisations planning timetable.
- You will review the draft balanced scorecards for area teams in HLCR to identify and interpret data challenges and performance trends. You will work with colleagues to ensure data accuracy in the balanced scorecards before any meetings take place to discuss the contents.
- Review the HLCR balanced scorecard at aggregate level and identify key risks and issues for resolution.
- Act as HLCR owner for the health library, a document that brings together our operating processes, promoting its use across operational teams and ensuring it is stored in an accessible way for frontline teams.
- You will lead the process of reviewing commissioner reporting requirements and generating a common set of commissioner reports that address a minimum 80% of requirements.
- You will work with insight and improvement and DDAT colleagues to produce a Power BI report that can produce standard commissioner reports, which frontline teams can access for their individual contracts.
This role could be for you if…
- You are experienced in trend analysis and reporting e.g., balanced scorecard.
- You are familiar with production of management information.
- You have previous planning experience.
- You are passionate about creating clear process documentation.
- If you have robotic process automation as well as experience with data visualization tool (Tableau or Power BI), this would be a huge advantage.
