We are looking for a Senior Fundraiser to be part of our team, driving the success of our English Football League Partnership by coordinating key elements and exceeding regional fundraising targets. You will be responsible for coordinating our fundraising activity across all clubs participating in the partnership. Build strong relationships with EFL representatives, clubs, and fans, creating rewarding experiences and maximizing collaboration across British Red Cross teams.
A day in the life of a Senior Fundraiser will involve :
- Coordinating and support engaging fundraising communications to generate income, including promoting partnership activities.
- Assisting in delivering fundraising marketing assets within budget, working with Marketing and Communications and Corporate Partnership teams.
- Being the go-to person for fundraising communications queries, helping develop briefs and assets with relevant teams.
- Coordinating fundraising across 72 EFL clubs (from League 2 upwards!), sharing successes and failures with the team promptly.
- Managing national fundraising campaigns like ‘Let’s Club Together’ and support Regional Fundraising Managers with club activities.
- Building strong relationships across the EFL for maximum opportunities and income.
- Representing the British Red Cross, ensuring consistent and excellent support to clubs and supporters.
- Monitoring and reporting regional fundraising within the partnership, ensuring compliance and best practices
- You will also be responsible for the Wembley fundraising activity at the following; Carabao Cup, Papa Johns Trophy, Championship, League 1 and League 2 playoff finals.
To be a successful Senior Fundraiser, you’ll need :
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear and persuasive interaction with diverse groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and understanding of visual identity principles.
- Knowledge of marketing and communications across various channels (email, social media, print).
- Proven track record in delivering fundraising activities, setting and monitoring targets, and reporting outcomes.
- Behaviours like solution-focused thinking, seeking insights, collaborative work, and supporting learning and development.
- Willingness to travel regularly across England and Wales and possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of the English Football League would extremely advantageous as well as a passion for football.
